This natural gas atlas creates an inventory of the molecular and stable isotope signatures of natural gases from the relevant geologic units and locations in BC. See the basis for the play definitions in the MEM 2006a, b, c publications (see the reference page) and in Evans 2019 (see publications).

Database

The dataset has last been updated on November 20, 2020. This has included a large number of archived records and new analysis bringing the total lines in the dataset to 44 248 records. Records stored prior to 2020-06-25 comprise the manually collected and process data set. Records included after 2020-06-25 are automatically processed.
